New website, same barn

Øhavsladen has a new website that tells the story as it stands today: a building project by the Archipelago Trail, timber drying in Latvia, backing from the municipality and the museum, and fundraising underway. Join the newsletter if you want to follow along when the timber goes up.

The project takes shape

The drawings for the new barn are in place, and the timber is air-drying in Latvia. Svendborg Municipality has approved the maintenance work on the existing building, and both Mayor Bo Hansen and Museum Sydfyn have given the project their backing. The next step is funding the cutting and raising of the frame.
